Today my friend got mad at me because she didn’t like that I got so much attention. I feel so bad. But I don’t know how to resolve that. The other day she got mad at this girl who kept being flirty with her boyfriend, and so the girl was like, “I’m naturally affectionate, but I’ll tone it down. Sorry. I didn’t mean anything by it.” But because of that I felt like the appropriate response would be, “I’m naturally charismatic, but I’ll tone it down. Sorry. I didn’t mean anything by it.” Only I don’t want to do that and it seems ridiculous. But I just apologized and said she deserved just as much attention as I received (which she does, only she’s less outgoing, so no one knows how talented/funny she can be), and we made up. But it was just a weird experience. I feel like there’s still underlying tension there. We’ll see how this goooeeess.
